“Orphan” is a horror film that was released in 2009, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by David Leslie Johnson from a story by Alex Mace. The twist at the end of this film was mind-blowing, nobody at the movie theater was expecting…what transpired. It’s all due to the talented star of the film, Isabelle Fuhrman. In February of 2020, a prequel was announced under the name of “Esther,” the titular character that Fuhrman portrayed. In November of 2020, the title of the film was changed to “Orphan: First Kill,” and production wrapped up in December of 2020. Due to the global pandemic, all movies had to be rescheduled, and the new release date for “Orphan: First Kill” will be on August 19, 2022. This film will have a limited theatrical release with video on-demand on the streaming network, Paramount+. The teaser movie poster and the official movie poster can be seen below…
