The newest “Lady Death” Kickstarter launched on Wednesday, February 7, 2018! Below is the hardcover image for the new “Lady Death: Apocalyptic Abyss #1” original graphic novel from Brian Pulido and the crew over at Coffin Comics. This Kickstarter campaign was fully funded in under 1 minute! This project had a goal of $15,000 and as of this posting (Friday, March 9, 2018), the funds ended with $230,145 setting a new record for Coffin Comics Kickstarter history! With 1,988 backers, this Kickstarter campaign was definitely funded!
The great feature of these Kickstarter projects are the “stretch goals,” which are special items offered through Kickstarter projects only, and more items unlock when the total pledge amounts reach specific monetary values. Here are the current unlocked items as of this posting:

Here are some facts about the creative team:
Brian Pulido (co-writer, publisher, art director): He created and published the Chaos! Comics Universe, including Lady Death, Evil Ernie, Purgatori, Chastity and dozens of other characters. He’s written comics for A Nightmare on Elm Street, Chucky, Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and many more. He’s on Hero Initiative’s fundraising board and has received the CBLDF Defender of Liberty Award.
Mike MacLean (co-writer): Mike co-wrote Lady Death: Damnation Game #1, Extinction Express #1, Oblivion Kiss #1, Merciless Onslaught #1, wrote La Muerta (Descent, Last Ritesand Vengeance) and co-created and wrote Zack the Zombie Exterminator. His crime fiction has bloodied the pages of numerous anthologies, magazines, and websites, including Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine. He wrote the Syfy movie Sharktopus. In addition, he co-wrote Dinocroc vs. Supergator and Piranhaconda.
Dheeraj Verma (illustrator): Dheeraj has illustrated Lady Death: Chaos Rules #1, Lady Death: Damnation Game #1, Lady Death: Extinction Express #1, Lady Death: Oblivion Kiss #1and Lady Death: Merciless Onslaught #1.
Ceci De La Cruz (colorist): Ceci has colored covers and pin-ups for Coffin Comics, and colored La Muerta #1: Descent and Last Rites. Other credits include work for Big Dog Ink, Mike Wolfer Entertainment, Medikidz Pages and many more.
Marshall Dillon (letterer): A writer, letterer, and editor, Marshall has been working in the comic industry since 1994. He has served as associate publisher for Devil’s Due Publishing and managing editor for BOOM! Studios, Speakeasy Comics, Ice Kunion, and Udon Comics. Current work includes: Lady Death and La Muerta.
